How Much Money Do I Need to Retire? or What’s MY NUMBER? Part 6

It’s taken us 14 months to get here. Are you ready to define YOUR NUMBER?

We’ve learned a lot

It’s been a long time since my first post on July 31, 2024. In fact, this is my 67th post where we’ve learned about setting goals, personal finance, and interesting topics that help you achieve your dreams so you can live your best life!

We’ve arrived at the point where I hope you have started to zero in on what YOUR Number is. However, there is more than just your number. Using the financial template and determining YOUR Number causes you to set a lifetime of goals and determine achievement plans and action items that support and build upon each other. You probably became a little uncomfortable in the process. Remember that growth often does not come until we step outside of our comfort zone. It’s better to become uncomfortable on our schedule than when a crisis is upon us and we are forced to. Being forced into difficult situations during a crisis is not ideal, and often, we are unable to achieve the perfect outcome because we must contend with the crisis. Let’s see how we did, shall we?

The completed financial template

Take out your financial template and savor the moment. You have now MOSTLY determined your financial path for the rest of your life. There are a few additional things I want to cover over the course of the next few weeks before we can be confident we have covered all the bases. During these next few weeks, based upon the information you will learn, alter what YOUR NUMBER is. And that’s OK. Once you put a bow on this portion of the course, and if you stay on track, you will indeed achieve your dreams and live your best life. Savor the moment!

OK, so you have not been able to complete your financial template?

I’ve seen this happen from time to time, and if you have not been able to complete your financial template, all is not lost. If it seems hopeless that you will be able to achieve your financial goals, don’t worry, just stay with me and get into that next week. But that does not mean you can give up completing your financial template. It’s your key to the life you want, after all!

Summary

This rather short post this week is another mile marker in our journey to financial freedom. You’ve had a lot to think about and there will be more coming. Remember what you are doing will be for a lifetime. I apologize for dragging this out, but I think it’s important to be thorough. If you want to speed up the process, consider taking the class which can be purchased at a very modest price on the website. Or, you can purchase my book by the same name as the course, Achieve Your Dreams: A Complete Guide to Live Your Best Life! (Note 1)
